TaxCutNow beats TaxCapNow and Another Felon-in-Possession Challenge

Posted by James Breen at 14 July 2008 17:24

I would like to thank my friend for his unfailing encouragement, support and criticism. I am typing on and on with interest and enthusiasm. I am most grateful to him for reading and suggesting alterations, improvements and additions on property.

Anyway, take the chance now to reflect a little on what I have:

The labor-backed Working Families Party sent out a press release touting the new Siena poll findings that more voters support a "circuit breaker" over a property tax cap. "It's no surprise. Working and middle-class New Yorkers are choking on property taxes, and only the so-called "circuit breaker" approach will actually lower anyone's taxes," said Dan Cantor, ..other part.

I found this one on today, quite interesting:

This one in Pittsburgh.  He was charged with receiving stolen property.  Notably, a gun.  Also had some drug convictions too.  He's being charged with being a felon-in-posession and is raising a second amendment claim to get the charges dismissed. Like I said a few days ago, The Court did us a favor by keeping these types of cases out of the running for serious consideration by The Court.  We don't want unsymapthetic defendants deciding what the bounds of our second amendment rights will ..[More].

While more information waited to be found, that is what I found:

The New York City Mayor's Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting (MOFTB) has just issued its final set of rules governing when permits are needed to take pictures in public property. These rules were the subject of much debate last summer, when they were first proposed and then quickly withdrawn and revised. The rules have improved with each revision. The ones issued today appear to be the, the fairest and most photographer friendly of the whole process. If you love to read these things in ..read all.

Those who keep up to date with plenty of information know for sure that what I need.

You are now ready to rock, so stop sitting there, and get on with the post already!

People file for bankruptcy because they're in debt. The more debt there is, the more bankruptcies there are. Well, duh! It really is that simple. When compared to the level of borrowing, the rate of bankruptcy has remained fairly steady. In 1977, 74 bankruptcies were filed for every $100 million of consumer debt. In 1997, 73 bankruptcies were filed for every $100 million of consumer debt. Bankruptcy isn't the cause of debt but rather is the result. And it isn't the disease but rather is one of the cures. Restricting access to bankruptcy court won't solve the problem of debt any more than closing the hospitals will cure a plague.
