After you try home insurance, think of the scenery. I love how this orbits work. It is almost perfect.

When the going gets very rough or too easy, those who are pursuing the greater good may feel a stronger compulsion to keep on pushing.

"I am worried." "I am scared." "I wonder how I will pay my bills." "I worry I won't find a job." Listening around the edges of people's conversations, I hear these concerns. I ended at the Emergency Room the other night. I had symptoms similar to insulin shock. It was a wierd feeling. While I was concerned about my health. June called our insurance which has a 24 hour nurse service. The nurse did a quick diagnosis and told her to get me to the ER. I was treated well by all there. Of course, .. I've decided not to get a motorcycle. Money isn't really the issue as a brand new Kawasaki Ninja is only $3,500, license classes $250, and tack on a couple hundred a year for insurance. The problem is I don't have healthcare. My parents are selves-employed and therefore pay out of pocket for healthcare. God forbade anything happens to me the burden of paying for my healthcare would be on my parents. No thanks. The money that isn't being spent on the bike is being lent out on Kiva.org so ..next.

People file for bankruptcy because they're in debt. The more debt there is, the more bankruptcies there are. Well, duh! It really is that simple. When compared to the level of borrowing, the rate of bankruptcy has remained fairly steady. In 1977, 74 bankruptcies were filed for every $100 million of consumer debt. In 1997, 73 bankruptcies were filed for every $100 million of consumer debt. Bankruptcy isn't the cause of debt but rather is the result. And it isn't the disease but rather is one of the cures. Restricting access to bankruptcy court won't solve the problem of debt any more than closing the hospitals will cure a plague.
